UTSW honored for employee development programs

Dr. Suzanne Farmer, Assistant Vice President for Organizational Development and Training, recently was honored by Chief Learning Officer magazine with its Silver Collaboration Award, one of the publication’s annual Learning in Practice Awards. The prize, announced in October 2014, was given for “accomplishments in collaboratively delivering targeted employee development programs.”

“This award really goes to the Organizational Development & Training team and the UT Southwestern Learning Council, which chartered the Academy for Career Enrichment (ACE) in the summer of 2013,” she said. “The council accomplished far more for the institution and our employees working as a collaborative, cross-disciplinary team than we ever could have as individual departments or functions.”
