The catalog is the document of authority for all students. Academic units may issue additional or more specific information that is consistent with approved policy. The information in the catalog supersedes that issued by any other unit if there is a conflict. UT Southwestern reserves the right to change the requirements given in the catalog at any time.
Individual School course descriptions in catalogs are correct at the time of publication.
The “General Information” catalog contains general information about the institution and rules that affect all UT Southwestern students. The “General Information” section should be used along with one of the other three catalogs, since each student must know the rules and processes given there, as well as those covered in the School catalog for his or her degree program.
