I had been recruited by one of my professors who said that they thought I had a knack for research. She introduced me to the laboratory atmosphere and allowed me to work on a research project with a graduate student. At that point, I was hooked.

I have been interested/ working in research since my junior year in undergrad and my interest stemmed from curiosity. I had seen novel drugs being developed for illnesses, however I was curious as to their design, how were they made? What is the process to study its target?
