PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency

UT Southwestern Medical Center Community-Based Pharmacy Residency Program is a newly emerging program currently holding pre-candidate status with ASHP. This program will accept one resident for each academic year.

This program will provide extensive Specialty Pharmacy experience through core rotations covering multiple specialty therapeutic categories. Residents will select three (3) elective rotations to meet their professional goals in addition to the orientation to pharmacy operations and completion of practice-related required learning experiences. After successfully completing this program, the resident should attain the knowledge and skills needed to enable them to provide a high level of service and pharmaceutical care throughout their careers as a well-rounded community, specialty or ambulatory care pharmacist.
