Dean’s Scholar in Clinical Research

The Dean’s Scholar in Clinical Research program provides promising early career faculty with financial resources, career guidance, research training, and protected research time to facilitate their development as successful clinical physician scientists.

Dedman Scholar Award

The Dedman Scholar Award is an endowment gifted by the Dedman Foundation that allows UT Southwestern to recruit promising early-career physicians to the medical center to be mentored by senior clinicians and clinical scientists.

Disease-Oriented Clinical Scholars (DOCS)

The goal of the Disease-Oriented Clinical Scholars (DOCS) program is to facilitate the growth of state of the art research in clinical departments at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Endowed Scholars Program in Medical Science

The Endowed Scholars Program in Medical Science provides $1.2 million over four years to first-time, tenure-track assistant professors at UT Southwestern. The Eugene P. Frenkel, M.D., Clinical Scholars Program provides a tremendous opportunity for recently recruited faculty at UT Southwestern Medical Center. The Program provides funding over four years to recruit and support new faculty members and promote enduring excellence in patient care in oncology.

KL2 Scholar Program
