For New Employees

  • Obtain a Parking Permit

All faculty, staff, and students who park a vehicle on UT Southwestern property, whether the property is owned or leased, are required to pay for parking. Fees are assessed at the beginning of each fiscal year. There is no free parking.

  • Check My Eligibility for Benefits

As a benefits-eligible UT Southwestern employee working 30 hours or more a week, you can get free health insurance for yourself, excellent rates for dependent coverage, plus dental and vision insurance for you and your benefits-eligible dependents.

    Check My Eligibility

  • Enroll in Benefits
    • Go to My UT Benefits
    • Under “Enroll Now,” click “My UT Benefits.”
    • Click “Get Started.”
      • Follow the prompts to add your dependents (spouse and/or children).
      • Update your tobacco survey responses.
      • Click the tiles to select or decline coverage.
  • Set Up Direct Deposit

Prior to receiving your first paycheck, you must choose either direct deposit or debit card as your method of payment.

    • For direct deposit, go to PeopleSoft > Employee Self Service > Payroll > Direct Deposit
    • For debit card, download the enrollment form (requires VPN), and submit it to the Payroll Department.
  • Get My Scrubs
