Sarnoff Fellowship Program

The Sarnoff Fellowship Program offers medical students enrolled in accredited U.S. medical schools the opportunity to spend a year conducting intensive work in a biomedical research facility in the United States, other than the medical school in which they are enrolled.

NIH Medical Research Scholars Program

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Medical Research Scholars Program is a comprehensive, yearlong research enrichment program designed to attract the most creative, research-oriented medical, dental, and veterinary students to the intramural campus of the NIH in Bethesda, Maryland. Scholars engage in a mentored basic, clinical, or translational research project in an area that matches their personal research interests and career goals. The program provides the opportunity for future clinician-scientists and medical researchers to carry out research across the full spectrum of laboratory, translational, and clinical opportunities in the interest of improving public health.
