Basic Science Symposia

Current topics in biomedical research are presented by UT Southwestern Medical Center faculty in two- and six-hour programs. Learn more

Summer Research Opportunities

Texas science teachers and current high school juniors students spend eight weeks working in a research laboratory. Learn more

Summer Science Camps in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Middle School Science, Anatomy and Physiology, and Biotechnology 

The camps are designed to provide high school and middle school science teachers with experience and increase their confidence in laboratory exercises, and to give a head-start to students who will take the corresponding science classes the following school year. Learn more

Teacher In-Service Training

Special training sessions provide teachers with background information and classroom activities on various topics relating to the biological sciences. Learn more
