UT-StARR Mentor Structure and Mentors

The UT-StARR training structure, with the resident-investigator at the center who will engage in an individual research project, participate in ongoing mentor projects, and receive didactic research training. This training will support their career development by providing learning and experience to publish their work in a finished product, prepare grants and transition to subsequent fellowship research training. The training will be vetted by a mentoring committee comprised of the UT-StARR Program Director, Dr. Susan Hedayati M.D. MHS, a senior science mentor, a near-peer mentor and a biostatistician.

Science Mentors

Residents will be matched with available mentors.
