Scholarly Activity

UT Southwestern is proud to be on the forefront of medical research. Major breakthroughs in the field have come from work done by researchers in our own Department, which boasts six Nobel Laureates including Dr. Michael S. Brown and Dr. Joseph L. Goldstein. Our faculty are involved in major research projects in all fields,and their expertise is sought out by their peers across the country and the world. Residents are encouraged to join in the research being done on campus and the residency program provides as much support to residents’ scholarly pursuits as possible, even offering two mentored resident-research programs.
