Medicine, public health synergistic fields
The M.D./M.P.H. program offers an extraordinary opportunity for students to build on their desire to help individuals and communities improve their health and quality of life.
Medicine and public health are two intimately related fields, and this program creates an amazing environment in which students can not only learn about public health, but gain important skills relevant for research, implementing community interventions, and health care policy and management. I consider my involvement in this program to have been integral to my education.
Equipping physicians of tomorrow
As ambassador I was primarily involved in student recruitment to the program. I typically attend interview days and talk about the M.D./M.P.H. program, as well as answer questions for applicants to the program. In addition, I have been involved in discussing issues in curriculum and program development with the administration.
