Research Radiochemistry Laboratory

Hot cells
The research laboratory's hot cells

The Cyclotron and Radiochemistry Program's Research Radiochemistry Laboratory is designed and constructed to develop new imaging radiotracers and to implement standard operating procedures for the research use of radiotracers.

It contains one fume hood, two hot cells, two mini hot cells, and a pair of manipulators.

Automated radiosynthesis units include:

  • Tracerlab FX N Pro, a fully automated two-reactor system for radiosynthesis of research 18F-tracers
  • Trasis miniAIO for the labeling of radiometals such as 68Ga-PSMA-11
  • Synthra RNplus for the radiosynthesis of research 18F-tracers
  • Synthra MeIplus for the radiosynthesis of research 11C-tracers
