Panwar Wins CAP 2022 Informatics Award
Vandana Panwar, M.D.
Third-year resident Dr. Vandana Panwar was presented with the College of American Pathology (CAP) 2022 Informatics Award in New Orleans at the annual meeting in early October. She has been very active in research projects related to Informatics throughout her residency training. Her particular interest deals with deep learning as it pertains to pathology. In addition to her existing scholarly production, she has taken a lead role in developing and growing the informatics journal club in our pathology residency program.
This is not the first informatics award for Dr. Panwar. Her informatics achievements were previously recognized by the Association of Pathology Informatics.
