Clinical Informatics Fellowship Program Research and Scholarly Activities
Fellows in UT Southwestern's Clinical Informatics Fellowship Program pick at least one scholarly project of interest, with the expectation of completing at least one longitudinal scholarly capstone project suitable for peer-reviewed publication or national presentation.
Mentors from all four institutions are available to guide fellowship scholarly projects. As informatics research frequently involves data capture and analysis, fellows are taught data extraction and analytic skills early on, with the expectation that they acquire relevant certifications for access to institutional data platforms.
