How to Apply to the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program

The Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program at UT Southwestern invites applicants from all backgrounds and experiences.

Through a holistic review process, the program seeks self-motivated learners committed to advancing their expertise as clinician-educators, scholars, and leaders in pediatric hospital medicine.

Four fellowship positions are offered each year. Positions are offered via the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), and applications will be processed using the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). For more information, please visit the ERAS website.

We request that applicants complete the fellowship application beginning in early July. Interviews are typically conducted from September to October, with final selection announced via the NRMP in December.

For more information, visit the NRMP website.

The Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern only accepts applicants who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or who hold J-1 ECFMG-sponsored visas. We do not sponsor H-1B visas for clinical training.
