Workflow for Untargeted Metabolomics Approach

We perform untargeted metabolomics using a Sciex TripleTOF 6600, a high-resolution accurate mass spectrometer coupled to a Shimadzu HPLC (Nexera X2 LC-30AD), using both positive and negative polarity modes.

We can detect up to 381 metabolites as shown in this list. The detectable metabolites are involved with more than 60 pathways including Pyrimidine metabolism, Purine metabolism, amino acids, Amino sugar and nucleotide sugar metabolism, Citrate cycle (TCA cycle), Pentose phosphate pathway, Glycolysis / Gluconeogenesis, etc. In addition, we can perform global untargeted profiling of metabolites for biomarker discovery using LC-MS, TripleTOF6600, XCMS, and Markerview Sciex Software.
