Anatomy Laboratory

The Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern has recently opened a new, state-of-the-art, anatomy laboratory to support human anatomical education. Students from the Medical School and the School of Health Professions will study the human body in this new learning facility. The space will also be available for advanced anatomical training for learners at all levels, including Graduate and Continuing Medical Education.The advanced learning space consists of 37 down-draft dissection tables, an operating station, and a sophisticated audio-visual system that supports collaborative learning and allows for the integration of digital content, such as radiographic images, 3D-atlases, and videos, into the curriculum.
