How to Apply to the Pediatric Infectious Disease Fellowship Program
We participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for fellowship applications.
Application Timeline
- June: MyERAS opens to applicants.
- July: UT Southwestern begins to download and review applications.
- September to November: Interviews are conducted for selected applicants. All interviews are virtual.
- November: Rank lists are submitted - exact date to be determined.
- December: Match results are announced - exact date to be determined.
Interested applicants should visit the ERAS fellowships applicant site to generate their application. Required documents include:
- Curriculum vitae
- Personal statement
- Photograph
- Medical student performance evaluation (formerly medical school Dean's letter)
- Medical school transcript
- USMLE certificates
- Three (or more) letters of recommendation
The Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern only accepts applicants who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or who hold J-1 ECFMG-sponsored visas. We do not sponsor H-1B visas for clinical training.
