Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Passes
Auto-Renewal/Purchase Period Oct. 28-Nov. 15
- Current users who want to renew: No action is required.
- Current users who do not want to renew: parkingservices@utsouthwestern.edu Parking Services and include your employee number by Nov. 15 to cancel a DART Tap card and by Dec. 2 to cancel a DART GoPass. (Failure to cancel by these dates will result in auto-renewal.)
- New users: Starting Oct. 28, purchase 2025 DART passes via the Parking Portal (“Order Permits” button) by Nov. 15 to ensure access to passes by Jan. 1, 2025.
UTSW Subsidizes DART Passes
UT Southwestern will continue to provide subsidies to full-time employees based on salary and the type of DART pass purchased. By purchasing a DART pass through UTSW, employees and students can save an average of more than 50% off the standard price. Part-time employees can purchase a DART pass for the Level C price.
- Up to 85% off the standard retail price for full-time employees
- Up to 90% off the standard retail price for students
- Part-time employees can purchase a pass at Level C rates (see table)

- UT Southwestern assumes no liability for lost passes and will issue no refunds. Full payment is required.
- Pass is not transferable.
- Pass is nonreturnable and nonrefundable.
- Pass type may be upgraded, if needed.
- Pass-type downgrade is not possible.
