About the Medical Genetics and Genomics Training Program
Trainees in UT Southwestern's Medical Genetics and Genomics Training Program work with patients across all age groups and gain experience managing both common and rare genetic conditions.
The program combines clinical training, laboratory exposure, and research opportunities in a collaborative academic environment.
Training occurs across Children's Medical Center, Parkland Health, and UT Southwestern Medical Center and offers exposure to diverse patient populations and a broad spectrum of genetic disorders.
Trainees participate in multidisciplinary clinics and collaborate with genetic counselors, laboratory geneticists, researchers, and specialists throughout UT Southwestern and its affiliated institutions.
