How to Apply to the Adolescent Medicine Fellowship Program
Applications to UT Southwestern’s Adolescent Medicine Fellowship Program are submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), and positions are filled through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
Our program aligns with evolving American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) training pathways and offers flexibility to support both clinically focused and scholarship-focused training.
Requirements
We welcome applicants who have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in pediatrics and are eligible for board certification.
Applicants from family medicine or internal medicine backgrounds may also be considered, with training pathways tailored based on prior experience and career goals.
UT Southwestern accepts U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and J-1 visa applicants sponsored by ECFMG. The institution does not sponsor H-1B visas.
Timeline
Applications follow the standard ERAS and NRMP timeline, with interviews typically held in the fall and match results released in late fall.
Formal offer letters are provided after the match.
