About the Adolescent Medicine Fellowship Program

UT Southwestern's Adolescent Medicine Fellowship Program was established in 2020. The program is currently under the direction of Jenny Francis, M.D., M.P.H.

The Adolescent Medicine clinic averages over 2,500 visits per year. The clinic serves a population of various backgrounds with both public and private health insurances with a broad age distribution. About 20% of patients are under 13 years, 30% are 14-15 years, 30% are 16-17 years, and 20% are 18-21 years of age.

We also offer opportunities for advanced degree training for fellows interested in further academic development.

To date, both graduates of the program have gone on to academic positions, including roles at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and Saint Louis University (SLU).
