Pediatric Allergy and Immunology

The Division of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology delivers world-class care for children, educates the next generation of allergists and immunologists, and conducts research to further knowledge. Spanning UT Southwestern's Departments of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, we function as one group to achieve our goals.

Highlights of our Division include:

  • Nationally recognized Food Allergy Center, offering one of the largest oral food challenge programs in the U.S.
  • Home to the only dedicated drug allergy program in Texas, recognized nationally and a charter member of the USDAR Pediatrics research network
  • One of the few centers with a comprehensive immunology program spanning pediatric and adult care, including a multidisciplinary Primary Immunodeficiency Program that sees patients with 78 distinct immunologic disorders
  • Active leader in innovative clinical trials for food allergy, drug allergy, and immunodeficiency, with over 30 completed or ongoing interventional trials
  • Strong academic pipeline with integrated research, clinical care, and mentorship programs supporting junior faculty leadership and development
