Education and Career Development
UT Southwestern has emerged as one of the leaders in the nationwide initiative to develop a true academic home for clinical and translational research and clinical investigators. Since 2007, CTSA funding has enabled the Center for Translational Medicine to transform our training landscape by initiating formal education and career development for clinical and translational trainees and junior faculty. Our vision is to provide rigorous multidisciplinary training that helps launch the careers of junior investigators across all disciplines and including all partner institutions of the Center for Translational Medicine. We offer a number of didactic and Socratic curricula focused on competency-based research immersion and grant acquisition.
