Residents elected to leadership roles

Physicians in the Radiology Residency training program have selected Dr. Jeremy Hall and Dr. Aleks Sorra to serve as Chief Residents, and Dr. Jesse Conyers to serve as Junior Chief Resident, through March 2019. Each of them have distinguished themselves as teachers and role models, with strong educational and administrative skills.

Dr. Hall is originally from Longview, Texas. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas in Denton, and then attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He previously served as the Junior Chief Resident. His clinical interests include neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, and body magnetic resonance imaging. During his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, football, tennis, and video games.

Originally from Albuquerque, Dr. Sorra attended medical school there at the University of New Mexico. His clinical interests include interventional radiology and neuroimaging. During his free time, he enjoys running, cooking, and traveling.

Dr. Conyers is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, and received her bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem. She then obtained her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her clinical interests include breast imaging and neuroradiology. During her free time, she enjoys exercising, running, making homemade jams and jellies, and hosting social events.
