Application deadlines vary by program.

Individual programs and tracks may have one or more additional requirements specific to the area of training. Additional requirements or considerations can be found in descriptions of individual programs.

No Application Fee

There is no application fee. We want our scientific community to mirror that of the global scientific community. Therefore, we do not place financial barriers between a student and higher education.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution of higher learning in the United States or proof of equivalent training at a foreign university is required. Students who are in the process of completing a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply.

Ph.D. Degrees in Basic Sciences
Ph.D. Degree in Clinical Psychology

A complete application will include:

  • Finalized and Submitted Application
  • Unofficial transcripts must be uploaded as part of the application submission. IMPORTANT! International applicants with a degree from a country other than the US or Canada: You are required to upload an unofficial student copy of a NACES-member Foreign Credential Service evaluation of your transcript at the time of application.
  • If your GPA was generated on a scale other than a 4.0 scale: You must enter a WES or Scholaro – generated 4.0 equivalent GPA in the application.
  • Three Letters of Recommendation
  • All International applicants: The TOEFL, IELTS, or DuoLingo examination is required. Waivers must be requested at the time of application and are typically only granted to students who attended undergraduate institutions in primarily English-speaking countries. Our TOEFL institutional code is 6686. No departmental code is needed.
