The Green Center for Reproductive Biology Sciences offers many training options for postdoctoral scientists, graduate students, and clinician scientists. The opportunities include training in gene regulation, genomics, computational biology, and reproductive biology.

The Center provides training and access to state-of-the-art instrumentation in individual labs and through experts in the Core facilities. Center faculty are committed to all aspects of mentoring, from science training to providing teaching and outreach activities to career development. Since 2010, over 100 graduate students, postdocs, and clinical fellows have trained in Green Center labs. Former trainees have successfully moved on to a wide variety of positions.

Apply for Fellowship Opportunities

  • Postdocs

    We offer the Green Center Scholar Postdoctoral Fellowship to attract outstanding postdoctoral scholars to UT Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW). Scholars with a focus in gene regulation or reproductive biology with a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree will receive partial or full support for up to 2 years to conduct research in Green Center labs. Scholars will also have career, professional, and personal development opportunities designed to prepare them for success in their careers.

    Graduate students who have completed or will complete their requirements for a Ph.D. or M.D. by the Fellowship start date are eligible to apply. Current postdoctoral fellows already in training in a wet or dry laboratory setting at UTSW are also eligible to apply.

    Preference will be given to candidates who will work between two or more labs.

    Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. You will be notified of the status of your application within 1 month of submission.

  • Graduate Students

    For students who have been accepted to UT Southwestern Medical Center and want to work in a Green Center lab, we offer the Green Center Scholar Graduate Student FellowshipScholars with a focus in gene regulation or reproductive biology will receive partial or full support for up to 2 years to conduct research in Green Center labs. Scholars will also have career, professional, and personal development opportunities designed to prepare them for success in their careers.

    Preference will be given to candidates who will work between two or more labs.
