This introductory course in global health is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the key principles and challenges in global health today. The course examines critical global health topics such as humanitarian emergencies, refugee health, neglected tropical diseases, and non-communicable diseases. Students will also learn about the challenges faced in both local and global efforts to prevent and control health problems and gain insight into the health care systems in low- and middle-income countries.
