On-Campus Child Care Centers
The Callier Child Development Program is our on-campus child development program which accepts children between the ages of 6 weeks to 6 years. Children of UT Southwestern faculty, postdoctoral scholars, clinical residents, students, and staff have first priority for enrollment. To register your child you must sign up to be placed on the waiting list. Typically decisions are made in April as to who will be accepted for the upcoming August start date. Applications are available by calling Callier at 214-905-3094, visiting their education office, or logging on to their website.
First Step Learning Centre is located in the Paul M. Bass Administrative and Clinical Center on north campus; the center is open 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. UT Southwestern faculty, postdoctoral scholars, clinical residents, students, and staff have priority for the care of a certain number of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. For enrollment information, call 214-352-8608 or visit the website.
