2018 Interprofessional Symposium for Students, Faculty, Preceptors, and Alumni

Quality Assurance and Improvement in Collaborative Practice - Second Annual Interprofessional Symposium for Students, Faculty, Preceptors, and Alumni. Friday, April 20, 2018. UT Southwestern School of Health Professions, Dallas, Texas.

The School of Health Professions has created a symposium to bring together interprofessional students, faculty, preceptors, and alumni in order to help them grasp the basic concepts and selected skills of TeamSTEPPS.

There will also be additional activities to:

  • Reconnect with faculty and colleagues
  • Tour campus and new facilities
  • Celebrate UTSW Medical Center’s75th Anniversary and the School of Health Profession’s 50th Anniversary

Accreditation and Credit Designation Statements

American Academy of PAs
This activity has been reviewed and is approved for a maximum of 3.00 AAPA Category 1 CME credits by the AAPA Review Panel. PAs should claim only those credits actually spent participating in the CME activity.

This activity was planned in accordance with AAPA CME Standards for Live Programs and for Commercial Support of Live Programs.

Texas Physical Therapy Association (TPTA)
This activity has been approved by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (TPTA) for 3 CCUs for PTs and PTAs.

Other health profession participants will get a certificate of completion that can be submitted for CE credits with their respective professional associations.
