Lymphocyte Isolation

Blood in yellow top ACD tubes MUST be stored at room temperature until delivery.

If at least 5 mL of blood is received, two (2) 1 mL aliquots of frozen lymphocytes will be stored. If less than 5 mL of blood is received, only one (1) 1 mL aliquot of frozen lymphocytes will be stored.

All lymphocyte isolation samples will be stored -80oC (short-term) and then transferred to -196oC in a liquid nitrogen freezer for long-term storage.
