Aliquoting Services

Plasma is collected from blood tubes containing an anti-coagulant (purple tops, green tops, etc.) Serum is collected from blood tubes without an additive (red tops, gold/tiger tops, etc.)

For plasma samples, we store ten (10) 600 µl aliquots unless otherwise instructed. Blood tubes should be kept at 4oC.

For serum samples, we store five (5) 600 µl aliquots, unless otherwise instructed. Blood tubes should be kept at 4oC.
