International Applicants

UT Southwestern Medical Center School of Health Professions may admit students who hold certain visas or are permanent residents of the United States. The school is not able to sponsor students with F-1/J-1 visa status in order to enroll in the Master of Clinical Nutrition-Nutrition Science. Please contact the School of Health Professions or the Office of International Affairs if you have any questions about enrollment eligibility.

Academic Prerequisites

You’ll need to complete all of the program prerequisites, even if you’ve earned an undergraduate or any other degree in another country.

Transcripts

We need original transcripts translated into English from each college or university you’ve attended. Please mail these original transcripts (not notarized copies) to:

UT Southwestern Admissions Office
5323 Harry Hines Blvd.
Dallas, TX 75390-9162

Please keep copies of the transcripts you send because we’ll own the originals and won’t be able to provide duplicates.

Transcript Evaluations

We also need an independent evaluation of your transcripts if you received your degree from a university outside of the United States. Please send these evaluations to the Admissions Office before the application deadline.

The evaluation should include:

  • Subject breakdown
  • Semester credit hours
  • Grade for each undergraduate course

Applicants whose education medium of instruction is English but in a non-English-speaking country must still submit Language Proficiency Exam scores.

While there are no minimum score requirements, competitive scores are typically equivalent to a TOEFL iBT score of 100 or above.

Our Institutional code is 6686.  No departmental code is needed.
