Celette Sugg Skinner, Ph.D.

Celette Sugg Skinner, Ph.D., is a pioneer in computer-tailored health promotion communications. She has spent more than 30 years developing and testing innovative behavior-change interventions, working primarily among traditionally underserved groups. Her recent work focuses on multilevel interventions that meaningfully use electronic health records to identify patients in need of intervention, use clinically collected information to generate and deliver algorithm-driven tailored interventions, and track intervention outcomes. She was Inaugural Chair of the Department of Population and Data Sciences in the UTSW School of Medicine. For more than 10 years, she has been a principal investigator for the National Cancer Institute's PROSPR cancer screening consortium, which follows more than 9 million patients through the entire colorectal and cervical screening processes.

L. Joseph Su, Ph.D., M.P.H., joined UT Southwestern from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he was Professor of Epidemiology at the Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health, and Associate Director of Population Sciences and Co-Director of Cancer Control and Population Sciences at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute. Dr. Su is an experienced epidemiologist who has studied the role of nutrition and lifestyle in prostate and breast cancers and epigenetic effects of environmental contaminants. Over his academic career, Dr. Su has served as director of curriculum at several public health schools. He also held leadership positions at the National Cancer Institute and the Food and Drug Administration.

Becca Henley, J.D.

Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Operations

Becca Henley, J.D., oversees student affairs and administrative functions for the Peter O'Donnell Jr. School of Public Health. Before joining UT Southwestern, she served as the Assistant Dean for Administration and Chief of Staff at Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law. After law school and before transitioning to a career in academia, Associate Dean Henley practiced corporate and securities law in a large law firm and as counsel for a corporation in Dallas, Texas.
