Fellowship Training Tracks

Our training program consists of several different training tracks in order to accommodate the career path of each individual:

  • The Clinical Track consists of three years of clinical gastroenterology training.
  • The Investigator Track typically consists of one and a half years of clinical gastroenterology and hepatology training and two and a half years of research training. The research years are supported by an NIH T32 training grant.
  • The Transplant Hepatology Fellowship consists of one year of transplant hepatology training to follow successful completion of a general gastroenterology fellowship.
  • The Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship consists of one trainee per year who has completed a categorical GI fellowship program.
