Pediatric Nephrology
The Division of Pediatric Nephrology is dedicated to providing exceptional care for children with kidney diseases, expanding knowledge of disease through research, and educating the next generation of nephrologists.
Highlights of our Division include:
- One of the largest end-stage renal disease (ESRD) programs in the U.S., providing comprehensive care to patients with ESRD
- Over 500 kidney transplants performed since the program’s inception in 1964, demonstrating decades of clinical excellence and experience in transplantation medicine
- Active in both basic and clinical research, advancing understanding of kidney disease pathophysiology with the potential to develop innovative approaches to treatment and patient care
- Dedicated to training the next generation of physicians and scientists, fostering leadership, academic excellence, and expertise in nephrology
