Patient Care

Faculty members in the Division of Hematology and Oncology provide comprehensive care at the Cancer Care Outpatient Building, a state-of-the-art facility designed for coordinated, patient-centered treatment. The building brings together infusion, imaging, clinical trials, supportive care, and pharmacy services to streamline the patient experience and support multidisciplinary care.

Our comprehensive sickle cell program delivers coordinated, lifelong care for patients with this complex disease. Services include preventive care, pain management, behavioral health, education, social support, and access to advanced therapies, all aimed at improving quality of life and long-term outcomes.

Division faculty also care for hospitalized patients through UT Southwestern’s inpatient facilities and the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center. As the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in North Texas, Cancer Center offers advanced treatments, clinical trials, and team-based inpatient care focused on achieving the best possible outcomes.
