More than 120 students from the UT Southwestern School of Health Professions celebrated graduation in December. The following degrees were awarded: Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Clinical Research, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Clinical Nutrition, Master of Physician Assistant Studies, and Master of Prosthetics-Orthotics. In addition, seven students obtained their Master of Science in Health Informatics.

Dani Mathisen, a third-year UT Southwestern medical student, resolved to find a simple way to talk with kids about the pandemic after hearing this question from a young relative. One night when she couldn’t sleep, she came up with the idea to create an alphabet book to explain the disease and the safety precautions it requires.
