EMCF Awarded NIH S10 Grant for New JEOL JEM-120i TEM
The Electron Microscopy Core Facility at UT Southwestern is excited to announce that we have been awarded an NIH S10 instrumentation grant to support the acquisition of a new JEOL JEM-120i transmission electron microscope.
This new 120 kV TEM will expand access to high-quality electron microscopy for the UT Southwestern research community. The instrument is designed to be compact, user-friendly, and expandable, making it well suited for a broad range of applications, including biological and soft-material samples.
We are grateful for NIH support and excited to bring this new capability to EMCF. The addition of the JEM-120i will help us support more users, strengthen imaging workflows, and enable new research opportunities across campus.
More information about availability, training, and scheduling will be shared as installation plans move forward.
