Mission

We are a committee of faculty, staff, postdocs, and graduate students committed to fostering a sense of community and belonging within the Neuroscience Department. We will periodically send updates of our activities focused on 3 areas:

NeuroCOM seeks to:

  1. Cultivate a sense of Community in the Neurosciences through social activities.
  2. Develop educational Outreach opportunities with neighboring schools by pairing with STARS.
  3. Organize programs that develop positive Mentoring relationships.

We encourage members of the community to reach out to us with questions and/or suggestions. We are required to report to the administration any act of discrimination. We view some of our most important roles as helping you understand the reporting system at UTSW and advocating for members of the community at their request.
