How to Apply for a Fellowship

Applicants should ellen.kitchell@utsouthwestern.edu an updated curriculum vitae (CV), a brief 1-2 page personal statement of interest in HIV medicine, and at least two letters of recommendation. Application due date is November 1. Applications are rolling and will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants will be reviewed by the program leadership, and the top finalist(s) will be invited for either a personal or phone interview. If eligible, the chosen applicant will be strongly encouraged to apply for the HIVMA Clinical Fellowship. However, program funding is available to fund the one-year fellowship for fellows who do not secure an HIVMA fellowship slot.
