IBD Gastroenterologist/ Researcher

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases, is seeking a Gastroenterologist who is also a Clinician Scientist. Applicant must have an M.D degree or equivalent, from an approved CME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program and Gastroenterology fellowship from an ACGME accredited program. Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical license and be board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Level of appointment will be commensurate with experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full time schedule. The position will play a major role for the expansion of the research mission of the Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases. This individual will also be expected to provide clinical care as a gastroenterologist with responsibilities and duties in patient care activities, in addition to teaching and training of medical students, house staff, and fellows.

Hepatologist / Medical Director – Liver Transplant

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases, is seeking a Hepatologist to serve as Medical Director of the Liver Transplant Program. Applicant must have an M.D degree or equivalent, from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program and gastroenterology fellowship from an ACGME accredited program. Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical license and be board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology. Level of appointment will be commensurate with experience. The position will have major administrative and leadership responsibilities related to our vibrant and rapidly growing liver transplant program.
