- Community Action Research Track (CART): A four-year medical school program that integrates community-based participatory research, population medicine, and service-learning to equip students with the skills to improve health outcomes in underserved communities through sustained engagement and collaborative data-driven initiatives.
- Community Health Fellowship Program (CHFP): Held each summer for 10 weeks for medical students completing their first year, the CHFP fosters collaborative partnerships between medical students and community-based organizations in the Dallas–Fort Worth area to address health disparities through hands-on service, applied research, and structured training.
- Family Medicine Third-year clerkship: A core clinical rotation that introduces students to comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan.
