Agape Ophthalmology Clinic

Agape Ophthalmology Clinic is a student-run clinic offering free ophthalmic screenings, education, basic eye care, and assistance accessing specialty ophthalmology services for underserved patients. Our team includes UTSW and community ophthalmologists, medical student volunteers, and interpreters.

    • Learn about basic ophthalmic exam and workup from Ophthalmology attendings and fellows
    • Apply clinical skills and support patients to overcome barriers to care
    • Clinic hours: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., monthly
    • Average number of patients: 6
    • Clinic population: Underserved communities of Dallas, including Spanish-speaking populations
