Canadian Registration

Executive Order on Canadian Registration in the U.S. – Effective April 11, 2025

  1. Travelers to the U.S.
    • Travelers to the U.S. staying over 30 days must register with the U.S. government, including Canadians.
  2. Verify Status
    • If unsure about your I-94 status, check here: https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/home.
    • If you have an I-94 (paper or electronic, including B-1/B-2 visa holders) or a Green Card (I-551), you have met the registration requirement—no action needed.
    • If you don’t have an I-94 on record, then proceed to Step 3 to register.
  3. How to Register
    • Create an account on the myUSCIS website.
    • Complete and submit Form G-325R online.
