APP Mentorship Program

The APP Mentorship program is an 11-month, formalized mentorship program from January to November that focuses on developing a new professional and/or scholarly skill. Experienced mentors guide mentees (both novice and experienced APPs) through a SMART-goal driven project of the mentee's choosing (i.e., research, lecturing, teaching, technology integration, quality improvement, etc.). Whether the APP is a novice or an experienced provider, a partnership is available to assist them with their professional growth. Each mentor/mentee relationship begins with the development of specific objectives and ends with measurement of outcomes. This is an exciting program that delivers benefits for APPs and their UT Southwestern colleagues and patients.
