The Office of Advanced Practice Providers (OAPP) exists to provide an environment of innovation where APPs work toward achieving their professional practice goals through continued development, support, and mentorship, all the while delivering exceptional, high-quality, multidisciplinary patient care.

Who Are APPs?

APPs consist of advanced practice registered nurses (certified nurse midwives, certified registered nurse anesthetists, clinical nurse specialists, and nurse practitioners) and physician assistants. Recognizing that APPs are integral members of the health care team, OAPP assists in the coordination and improved integration of APPs across the continuum of care at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
