Conversation Partners

About

Welcome to the Conversation Partners Program at UT Southwestern, coordinated by the Office of International Affairs. This unique initiative aims to bridge the cultural gap by connecting our international trainees with native English speakers, who are employees of UTSW. The primary goal is to facilitate meaningful conversations and foster cultural exchange through connecting with one another.

The partner pairs casually meet periodically during lunch time or another part of day; on campus or off campus. This will facilitate an opportunity for our international participants to practice their English conversation skills and build lasting relationships with their American conversation partners.

This program requires a 20 week commitment of one hour per week to meet in-person or virtual with your conversation partner. Join us in creating a vibrant community where language learning goes hand in hand with the joy of forming connections.
