Your child could be a part of UT Southwestern history

Does your child put Band-Aids on teddy bears? Does he or she want to discover the world as viewed through a microscope?

The Communications team wants to capture their spirit! In celebration of our 75th anniversary, we’re producing a video comprised entirely of the children of UT Southwestern employees and students that hopes to capture the future of medicine. Targeted release of the video is this fall, and parents may be identified along with their children.

We will be casting children who:

  • Are aged pre-K through elementary school
  • Love science and medicine
  • Are able to follow directions
  • Are talkative and comfortable in front of a camera
  • Can attend the scheduled filming time and location (10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25; no exceptions!)

There will be a casting process to ensure the video represents a variety of departments across the institution. We want to cast a wide net, but unfortunately, we cannot film everyone who applies or guarantee that each child will make the final version of the video.

If you are interested in having your child participate, fill out this survey. We will contact you if we can schedule a time to interview your child. All parents whose children participate must sign a media release form before the filming date.
