We Are Texas Strong: Join the 2018 State Employee Charitable Campaign
Stop by McDermott Plaza on South Campus from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, to participate in the campuswide kickoff of the 2018-2019 State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC). Enjoy lunch on the plaza and grab some great giveaways. Attendees can also pick up an SECC Passport and collect passport stickers at each SECC charity booth. Those who collect four or more stickers will receive a Texas Strong tote bag.
In 2017, UT Southwestern employees raised $329,053.15 for charities through the campaign. This year's campaign runs Oct. 2-Nov. 29 and UTSW’s goal is to raise $400,000.
Representatives from a variety of charities will be on hand and you can learn how to support your favorite causes through the campaign.
If you can't make it to the campuswide kickoff, be sure to visit an SECC information table at one of the following locations. All events take place from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 3 – North Campus Commons and Bass Center food courts
- Thursday, Oct. 4 – Clements and Zale Lipshy University Hospitals
- Friday, Oct. 5 – UT Southwestern Medical Center at Richardson/Plano, Brookriver building
- Monday, Oct. 8 – South Campus food court, UT Southwestern Monty and Tex Moncrief Medical Center at Fort Worth
- Thursday, Oct. 18 – Bass Center food court
- Friday, Oct. 26 – South Campus food court
- Wednesday, Nov. 7 – Clements University Hospital
